A garment store with no rails on the walls, so the clothes read as objects.
About this project
The owner makes fewer than two hundred pieces a season. Hanging them on wall rails made the shop look empty, so everything moved to the centre of the room on movable steel frames.
Walls are left as raw plaster with a single picture rail. The fitting rooms are the only enclosed volume, clad in unfinished plywood that will mark and darken with use.
